The goal is to produce elementary school teachers that can seek for the essence and the truth about the problems in moral and ethics that individuals and communities face in our current society, as well as searching for plan for conquest by approaching the academic fields of philosophy, ethics, politics, economy, culture and etc. in a wholistic way and by using the same as the foundation, possessing both the insight and sense of criticism in accordance with the times. Accordingly, conduct teaching and learning while focusing on philosophy and ethics of the east and west, traditional ideas and ethics of Korea, ethics of citizens and societal ethics, fundamentals of teaching and learning of ethics education, issues related to unification of the South and North Korea, folk culture and ethics, and discussions and field experience related to domestic and international current issues.
