1 credit is based on the standard of 15 hours per semester. However, subjects including practical training, experiment and practical skill must follow the school regulations as it can operate on extended time up to twice the amount of standard time. Each credit is based on the standard 50 minutes.
Credits earned each semester must not exceed 22 credits.
Subjects offering 4 credits must be completed through two consecutive semesters,
Each department must maintain a balance of allocated time per semester for class operation. Accordingly, each grade is run by dividing it into 2 groups(A group, B group)
Curriculum Operation Guideline
General Education Curriculum
Per the rule, general education curriculum must be completed within the first two years (freshman~sophomore). But can also be taken even after the third year considering the subject's affiliation based on its characteristics.
Humanities and social sciences subject setting must consider educational aspect and relevance.
Subjects in the arts and physical education must strive for extensive refinement and development of personality. But leadership must be emphasized in order for them to realize these aspects via society of teaching profession in the future.
Intensive Course
The Intensive course consists of the following 12 intensive course subjects. Per the rule, the allocated quota of students per intensive course subject must be the total number of admitted students divided by 12. (ethics education, Korean language education, social science education, mathematics education, science education, physical education, music education, fine arts education, practical course education, elementary education, English education, computer education).
Elective Subjects
Elective subjects operation guideline For intensive elective subjects, departments apply each school year and each department can open 5 subjects from the intensive course subjects list.
The number of classes for elective subjects must be limited to a maximum of 3 classes per subject.
Graduation Thesis
Students in Spring semester of their 4th year(senior year) must submit their graduation thesis plan by the end of March to the dean of each intensive course, and the final thesis must be submitted to the dean through their advising professor by the end of December (Fall semester of their senior year)
The characteristics of the thesis must adhere to the characteristics of the intensive course.
