The essential goal of the elementary social studies education is in preparing the elementary school children to possess basic qualifications of democratic citizens. In order to cultivate elementary school teachers that can contribute to the achievement of such goals, social science department operates subject content education which is the basic study for curriculum pedagogy subject and social sciences in intensive course politics, economy, history, geography education theory and etc. adequately combined with field experience and field investigation.
